[…] The stereotype is: “I win, so you got to lose, and I beat you”. Great negotiation is about great collaboration. It’s about several people faced with different aspects of the same problem. You work with them and solve the problem together and you’re both better off.” I couldn’t agree more, and this is how I negotiate for clients, understanding both parties’ needs so that I can get the most out of it for my clients.

Is it the right time to buy/sell?

Every market comes with its own set of opportunities and challenges. I don’t believe there is ever a better time. In my opinion, it is very personal. So, when a client or a friend asks me “how is the market?” and “should I buy or sell?”, my answer is always “it depends,” because everybody’s situation is unique. Understanding a client’s needs/goals/life changes will determine if today is the right time for them.
